We purchased this picnic table when my son was about 18 months old and keep it indoors. He loved it instantly. He eats the majority of his snacks (and non family meals) at his table. He has also enjoyed it thoroughly as a play surface for coloring, his trains, cars, everything.

This was so easy to put together. I must admit, in the AZ sun it gets hot, but my two little girls LOVE it and are exctied finally having a place to sit near the pool. So far we've eaten lunch twice on it. It's the first place they go to when they run outside. It also has a stopper for the top for when you don't want to use your umbrella. I purchased this wonderful table and umbrella for my almost 3-yr. old granddaughter to use on my patio outside this spring and summer. However, since it is too cold to take outside, we have been playing inside on it inside since Christmas, which is the reason I purchased it for.
